Fake Eclipse Glasses?

Don't risk your eyes!

February 2017

There are now reports of fake eclipse glasses being manufactured and marketed to unsuspecting consumers. These glasses may have all the same markings as those that ARE certified safe, but they are not to be trusted in protecting your eyes during as potentially dangerous activity as looking at the Sun! Make sure that you use only eclipse glasses that meet the specific ISO 12312-2 international standard applicable to eclipse glasses.

How do you know your glasses are real?

Glasses sold by eclipse2017.org are manufactured by Rainbow Symphony and American Paper Optics, and are certified to meet the ISO 12312-2 international standard. We have them shipped directly to us from these wonderful companies, and then they go straight to you.

Buying from another source means you may not be really sure of the quality of what you're buying. But you will NOT have that worry if you buy directly from us!

Thanks, and Clear Skies,
