Official Plans for viewing the eclipse from Lusk

The Niobrara Chamber of Commerce will be planning lots of events leading up to eclipse day!

Here are some highlights:

Sunday, 8/20:

9:00am - 2:00pm  Tours of the area

2:00pm - 5:00pm  Eclipse party at the Tiger Plunge

5:00pm - 8:00pm  Food vendors at the Niobrara County Fairgrounds

5:30pm  Speech given by Stan Graves - a leading aerospace engineer whose credits include work with NASA, THe US Navy and AirForce, as well as major projects with Boeing and Lockheed.  (Stan was the Chief Engineer for the Space Shuttle sold rocket boosters!)

6:00pm - 10:00pm Music provided by Allison Draw

 
Monday August 21st:
 
Viewing stations and parking at Fairgrounds, BJs campground and Prairie View campground at 8:00am  
10:00am Guest speaker Stan Graves.  Food vendors available. 
 
Eclipse glasses, t-shirts and other items will be available at the fairgrounds both days.
