Official Plans for viewing the eclipse from Mount Juliet
The City of Mt Juliet TN, along with the Mt Juliet Chamber will participate with other cities across the U.S. in hosting a “Solar Eclipse Viewing Event” on August 21, 2017. The event will be held at Charlie Daniels Park from 11:00AM to 3:00PM.
There will be activities for the whole family which include special Music, Food Trucks, Vendors, Field Day Fun as well as all the activities that the park have to offer, then the community will come together to share in this once in a lifetime event.
This is a FREE event but Eclipse Survival Kits will be on sale that includes viewing glasses, “I survived the Mt Juliet Eclipse” T-shirts & more! Presale information to be announced soon. All proceeds will go to the local nonprofit, Friends of Mt Juliet Parks & Greenways.
