Perry County, MO will experience 2 minutes 40 seconds of totality as the total solar eclipse passes over the United States.

Perryville Area Chamber of Commerce Solarfest August 18-19, 2017 sponsored by Perry County Memorial Hospital is a two-day science fun-filled festival with live music, mobile planetarium shows by Coldwell Banker Professional Assoc., science vendors, science themed chalk art festival, carnival rides, sundial unveiling, moon pie eating contest, gyro rides, night time star gazing, food, fun and much more.

Perryville’s Super Solar Sunday, August 20, 2017 will host a Perryville Mudfest in their city park. Learn why it’s important to keep our earth clean while having so much fun getting muddy!  Where adults can be kids and kids can be kids as you slip, slide and crawl your way through this fun-filled obstacle course. Museums, natural area hiking, a 5K GlowRun & Walk, live music, food, fun and night time star gazing.

Eclipse Monday August 21, 2017 we will have public designated eclipse viewing sites with food/drink vendors. Some sites have additional rustic and self-contained camping.
